The EXACT Control-Top Underwear Katy Perry Wore Underneath THAT Green Grammys Dress

Katy Perry's mint green Gucci gown was a total showstopper on the red carpet at the 2013 Grammy Awards this weekend. The skintight, cleavage-baring long sleeve dress managed to leave nothing—and, simultaneously, many things—to the imagination. It definitely captivated the attention of talk show host Ellen Degeneres, who couldn't help but gawp at Perry's gravity-defying cleavage:

The question at the forefront of our minds all night, though, was: What kind of control-top underwear was Katy Perry wearing!? Without the right undergarments, the unforgiving material of the dress—in such a light color—would have been a lot less flattering. But Perry looked drop-dead gorgeous.

Well, today, I popped by the Spanx suite at fashion week and my good friends there let me in on Perry's little secret.

At the 2013 Grammy Awards, Katy Perry wore Spanx's "Undie-tectable High-Waisted Mid-Thigh" longline underwear—a $58 pair of panties that reaches from just under the bust to mid-thigh. They're made of hosiery yarns—which means it's really light and totally not bulky—and features medium control at the tummy, the butt (preventing uni-butt!), and all around.

Check 'em out right here:

Not a bump or lump in sight! Amazing!

Prabal Gurung's ICB Girl 'Thinks Dirty Thoughts,' Parties All Night Long

Party girls — the ones who rage into the wee hours of the morning, wake up rough, and roll out of bed — were the inspiration for Prabal Gurung's ICB fall 2013 collection, but let us tell you, there was no walk of shame happening on that runway.

"This girl does her makeup in five minutes, runs out the door, had a fabulous all-nighter and still looks gorgeous in the morning," said MAC makeup artist Yadim.

To make the "polished punk" look come to life, Yadim started with MAC's "Feline" Kohl Power Eye Pencil, tracing inside the waterlines and smudging underneath the lashline. Taupe blush, not eyeshadow, gave the eyes a sullen, sexy look. And when it came to mascara — the heavier, the better was his motto, which he applied by moving the mascara wand back and forth, instead of up and down.

Butter London's global color ambassador, Katie Hughes, reflected the same gritty sensibility with matte graphite nails using Butter's "Chimney Sweep" and "Matte Finish Top Coat." (Side note: We've been spotting tons of matte nails on the runway this week!)

"Prabal basically gave me a couple of words that really made it clear what we were going to do," she told us. "He said, 'Girls that think dirty thoughts, they look really chic, but a bit dirty all at the same time.'"

Consider it our goal to look half as cool as these girls the next time we wake up hungover.

Miranda Kerr Looks Cute, Luna Park Looks Scary

The only thing we love more than fashion is fashion for a cause. Miranda Kerr was named the ambassador of Australia's Kids Helpline yesterday at Luna Park and looked appropriately sweet for the occasion.

The darling Aussie model wore a fun flared print dress courtesy of Peter Pilotto to the Sidney theme park—this was the second time she's been seen wearing the pattern-loving designer to a public function. She paired the number with chunky white sandals, and while we'd love to discuss her perpetually flawless hair and makeup, we're too distracted by the eerie watchful eye over her shoulder. Creepiest theme park ever? Let's hope the real thing isn't quite as haunting. Regardless, we have yet another reason to love Ms. Kerr.

Victoria Justice Talks Makeup, Winter Style, and Love

We already had a serious style crush on Victoria Justice, but running into her at Alice + Olivia's Fall 2013 presentation last night only made our hearts grow fonder. The adorable 19-year-old actress was decked out in a floral peplum dress, chunky '80s earrings, and bright red lipstick. She was super friendly and eager to answer our pressing questions—like how the heck do you dress cute in the cold? What products (specifically!) does she use for that flawless complexion? And, of course, what pearls of wisdom does she have about love?

StyleBistro: It's freezing! What's your go-to cold weather outfit?
Victoria Justice: I have this one great coat from Zara that's kind of military inspired. And then just a great scarf, I love bold colors because I feel like it really makes my skin color pop. And just throwing on a hat, I love slouchy beanies!

SB: Your skin is so flawless, what products do you use to make that happen?
VJ: For everyday skinwear, I use this stuff by Dermalogica, it's called Treatment Foundation but it's very sheer and I just throw it on with my fingers. It has a nice glow to it. I also use this stuff by Benefit called Posietint which is a lip stain and a cheek stain. So I try not to pile too much on.

SB: With Valentine's day coming up, what would you be your one bit of love advice for our readers?
VJ: I would say never depend on someone else do provide you with happiness, because at the end of the day, happiness comes from within.

Designer Interview: Pamella Roland Talks Russia and Angelina Jolie

After watching a gorgeous collection of luxe leathers, gold brocades, rich furs, and shining taffetas, we got the chance to talk with designer Pamella Roland about her modern day Anna Karenina creations.

StyleBistro: What made you choose Russia for your inspiration?
Pamella Roland: Actually we were looking at Modern Art, but I went to Saint Petersburg with my husband and called the design team and said "I change my inspiration!"

SB: Celebrities love your clothes! Who do you envision wearing this collection?
PR: Oh gosh, so many people that I've dressed already. I can see Kate Winslet—I always say her name, I hope she hears me some day because I want to dress her. And Angelina Jolie I've dressed, she would look amazing in these. Some of these dresses you really need the height, but we dramatize everything in the show, too.

SB: Is there anyone we will see wear your designs for the Oscars?
PR: There are a few, but we can't say! There were also a few with stylists here spying.

Kate Hudson's Red Bustier Gown

Kate Hudson owns every red carpet she steps onto. For the Elle Style Awards, the actress looked statuesque in a fiery Stella McCartney gown.

The beloved designer (and bestie to every high-fashion cool kid in Hollywood) was the night's winner of the International Designer Award. Presented, fittingly, by Ms. Hudson. The striking column dress featured embroidered panels and a bustier bodice with a dipped back. The beautiful blonde wore her hair up in a neat chignon and combined silver and bronze shadows for a smoky eye effect. Dangling gunmetal earrings with a touch of purple were the only jewelry she wore and she carried a black and gold hard case clutch to complete her look. Drop. Dead. Gorg.

Olivia Palermo's New York Fashion Week Outfits So Far

One of the best parts of Fashion Week? Olivia Palermo. Not only is she one of the sweetest attendees you'll ever talk to, she wears the most inspiring outfits.

This season, not surprisingly, she was all about layers. We especially appreciated her storm-proof high-fashion yeti ensemble courtesy of Monika Chiang. We're also dying to get our hands on an equally fluffy earflap hat!

Next, the Tibi loyalist was spotted front row in a checkered peplum top and capri pants. She stacked on a vest and strutted in on black patent ankle-boots. Her latest look at Joanna Mastroianni's show also stuck to the monochromatic color scheme in tall boots, a wrap coat, and a fur-clad leather jacket. An embroidered clutch offered a subtle dose of color.

We already have three impeccably crafted looks from the style maven and the festivities are far from over. Take a look at the pics and stay tuned.

Beauty How-To: Gorgeous Fishtail Braids & Smoky Eyes Backstage at Christian Siriano

The crisscrossed fishtails at Christian Siriano's fall 2013 show were so gorgeous even the models were swooning over them — and, need we remind, they've had many an updo before. "Christian wanted to do Heidi braids, and I wouldn't let him have it," said Antoinette Beenders, Aveda's global style director. "I said, 'We can do better than that!'"

Well, mission accomplished! Take a close-up look at the finished masterpiece:

To create the style, Beenders first spritzed damp hair with Aveda's Pure Abundance Style Prep, a thickening spray that gives hair more texture and grip. "The last thing you want with braids is floppy hair," she said.

Next she created a center part, smoothed down the flyaways in the front, and began fishtail braiding down the crown and into a singular braid. (To adapt the look at home, she recommends parting your hair into pigtails and fishtail braiding from just the base down.)

Once secured with an elastic, she massaged the fishtail to loosen it up a little and give the models' locks a fuller, thicker look. Then last but not least, she crisscrossed the braids, secured with bobby pins, and boom. Dunzo! Surprisingly simple, right?

Check out the process in our handy-dandy little .GIF below:

As for beauty, MAC makeup artist Polly Osmond played up the opulence of Siriano's fall collection — which was inspired by the Russian opera — with strong, smoldering smoky eyes.
If you look closely, you'll see Osmond feathered out the smoky effect by drawing itty-bitty lines on the outer corners of the eyes:

As for the rest of the look, she kept it simple. "We used MAC taupe to contour the cheeks, no blush, so they have that very cold, strong Russian feel about them," Osmund said. The lips were finished off with MAC's "Mauvey Nude," a natural lip-toned hue and clear Lipglass.

Kim Kardashian Turns on the Brights in Brazil

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West (PacificCoastNews.com)After a long streak of wearing only black and white, Kim Kardashian took a 180 in neon for her Brazilian adventure with Kanye West.

The reality star and her baby daddy were spotted in Rio de Janerio in a hot pink Juan Carlos Obando dress with an asymmetrical hem that showed off her highlighter yellow Christian Louboutin pumps. Kim parted her hair and pinned back each side, wearing oversize aviators to shield her eyes. She even painted her nails a bright white for the occasion. We're hoping this begins the colorful segment of her maternity wardrobe.
