Eating the same foods every day make you lose weight

A new study has revealed that eating the same lunch every day could actually be an effective weight loss strategy.
Scientists at the University of Buffalo and Vermont found that women who lunched on macaroni and cheese each day for a week ended up consuming 100 fewer calories during a 24-hour period.
According to the findings, which were published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, by following this restrictive routine we become habituated to certain foods, and therefore less likely to eat more.
Indeed, physically fit Jennifer Aniston reportedly followed a 'boredom diet' throughout her stint on Friends - which involved eating the same Cobb salad for ten years straight.
While it may sound tedious, nutritionist Zoe Bingley-Pullin, who has the same breakfast of grainy bread with avocado, tomato and egg every day, swears by her routine.
'These days we're far too overstimulated when it comes to food choices,' explained the author and cooking show host.
'We sometimes forget that food is just fuel and we spend far too much time thinking about it.

According to Ms Bingley-Pullin, the key to a healthy diet is less variation. 'My advice is have fewer options, but the right options,' she explained.
'If a healthy eating plan is convenient it's more likely to be sustainable,' she added.
