No sex, no raunchiness: ‘Murder 3’ gets U/A certificate

Murder 3

Mahesh Bhatt’s ‘Murder’ franchise has always been known for its erotic content and thrill. But the same doesn’t hold true for the third installment. Randeep Hooda, Aditi Rao Hydari starrer ‘Murder 3′ has been given U/A certificate by the censor board. Yes! You read it right. ‘Murder 3′ will be less on erotic content and focus more on emotions, instead.
As per a source from the production house, “The film has got a U/A certificate. The censor board didn’t find any erotic content in the film and decided to make it a film for all the audiences.”
When Daily Bhaskar contacted Mahesh Bhatt, he said, “Yes, the film has got a U/A certificate and we are happy about it. It is a brand reinvented. It has more emotional content than erotic element. It’s a drama thriller and more over a story of two women. We have tried to show the film from the perceptive of two women.”
The first and second parts ‘Murder’ (starring Mallika Sherawat and Emraan Hashmi) and ‘Murder 2′ (starring Emraan Hashmi and Jacquliene Fernandes) respectively, had a high quotient of erotica. It will be interesting to see how the third part will fair at the box-office.
